Collecting Access Data

The delivery and presentation of content via our website requires the collection of certain data from the technical side. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are recorded by us or the provider of the web space. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you and your person.

The corresponding information consists of the name of the web page, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you accessed our site, and the corresponding IP address.

We use these data for the presentation and delivery of our content as well as for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and continuous improvement of our offer. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the data mentioned should there be any suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

Third-Party Content and Services

The offer on our website may also include content, services, and benefits from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos, or third-party graphic representations. Calling up these services from a third party regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This enables these providers to detect your user IP address and also to store it.

We make every effort to include only those third-party providers that use IP addresses solely for content delivery. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider possibly will store the IP address, too. This storage may serve statistical purposes, for example. We will immediately inform our users of this fact if we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers.

In this context, please also note the specific privacy statements of individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You will also find them in this Privacy Statement.

Personal Data

In the context of data avoidance and data economy, we collect personal data only to the extent and for as long as it is necessary for the use of our website, or as required by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and strictly adhere to the relevant legal regulations and this Privacy Statement when collecting and processing personal data. This data collection is voluntary if we collect personal data, such as your name, address, or email address. Without your express consent, these data will not be disclosed to third parties. The collected data will be blocked or deleted if the purpose of the data collection is no longer applicable or the end of the legal storage period has been reached.

Our website can be used on a regular basis without disclosing personal data.

Server Log Files

The server log files are anonymized data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally. It is indispensable for the delivery and presentation of our content for technical reasons. Furthermore, they serve our statistics and constant optimization of our content. Typical log files are the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your provider, the page from which you came to our site (referrer URL), and your IP address. Log files also enable a precise check in the event of suspicion of illegal use of our website.

SSL Encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal content from our users. This encryption is activated, for example, when you make requests to us via our website. Please make sure that SSL encryption is enabled for corresponding activities on your side. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: The display in your browser line changes from „http://“ to „https://“. Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated and contact us in case of doubt.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads, an online advertising program from Google Inc. on our website, which also uses conversion tracking. Google AdWords sets a cookie on your PC using this tool when you visit our website via a Google ad. The cookie is no longer valid after 30 days. It does not serve any personal traceability. If you visit our website as a user and the cookie is still working, it will be recognizable for us together with Google that you clicked on the corresponding ad and were redirected to our site. A different cookie is assigned to each Google AdWords customer. Cookies are thus not traceable via the websites of AdWords customers.

The data collected by conversion cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers. As customer, we learn the total number of users who responded to our ad and were then redirected to a web page that was tagged with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information during this process with which we could personally identify you as a user.

The Google conversion tracking cookie can be deactivated via your Internet browser if you should reject the tracking procedure. Use the browser’s help function for more information, if necessary. You can find out more about Google’s Privacy Policy at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Google Analytics

We use the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google Inc. on our website which uses cookies. These generate information that is transmitted to a Google server. These servers are usually located in the United States but follow agreements to use the European Economic Area and truncate your IP address before transmission to the United States. A personal reference is excluded by shortening the IP address („anonymization“). Only in exceptional cases, the IP address is truncated only after transmission to the USA. Google evaluates the transmitted information and provides further services for us website operators in this context. The determined IP address is not merged with other Google services. Google Inc., headquartered in the U.S.A., is certified for the US-European data protection agreement „Privacy Shield“, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. Processing is carried out for optimization and marketing purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or § 15 para. 3 TMG on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior. The data collected by Google Analytics are deleted after 26 months.

You can access Google Analytics Terms and Conditions and information on data protection via the following links: https://www.google.de/analytics/terms/de.html and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de .

You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by changing your browser settings. However, this may result in display and functional restrictions when using our website.
Moreover, a browser plug-in prevents the collection and use of the data generated by the cookies. You can download it from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google Analytics Remarketing

We use the remarketing function of Google Inc. on our website. With this feature, we partner with Google to present customized and interest-based ads to our visitors. Cookies are set on your computer in the process. These are text files that recognize users when they call up pages and thus enable interest-based advertising throughout the Google network. In this context, Google denies the collection of personal data and, according to its own information, does not establish any connections to other Google services.
You can inhibit Google’s remarketing function by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads . Furthermore, the use of cookies can be deactivated via http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp or by changing the settings in your browser. Use its help function if need be. You can find out more about Google Remarketing and Google’s General Privacy Statement at: http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Google Maps Plugin

We use a plug-in of the Google Maps internet service on our website. The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc., located in the U.S.A., CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View.
By using Google Maps on our website, information about the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the U.S.A. and also stored on this server. We have no knowledge about the exact content of the transmitted data, nor about their use by Google. In this context, the company denies the connection of these data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transfer the information to third parties.
You prevent Google Maps from running if you disable JavaScript in your browser. However, you will not be able to use the map display on our website.
By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of information by Google Inc. as described.
You can find out more about the privacy policy and terms of use for Google Maps here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use „Google reCAPTCHA“ (hereinafter „reCAPTCHA“) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, U.S.A. („Google“).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to verify whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis are passed on to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not made aware that an analysis is taking place.

The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.

For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy statement, please see the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

Social Media Links

Social networks (Facebook, Twitter, and Google+) are only integrated on our website as links to the corresponding services. You will be redirected to the page of the respective provider after clicking on the embedded text/figure link. Only after forwarding, user information is transmitted to the respective provider. Please refer to the respective data protection provisions of the providers you use for information on the handling of your personal data when using these websites.

YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, U.S.A.

A connection to YouTube’s servers is being established when you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.

You enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile when you are logged in to your YouTube account. This can be prevented by you by logging off from your YouTube account.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest in line with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Please see YouTube’s privacy statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy for more information on the handling of user data.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to adapt or update this Privacy Statement, if and when necessary, in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. In this way, we can adapt them to current legal requirements and take into account changes in our deliverables, e.g. when introducing new services. The latest version applies to your visit.
