Our core competence is contract packaging or copacking, also known as kit packaging, in the medical and pharmaceutical sector. This includes the packaging of medical products and devices such as blood glucose meters, in various versions and for different markets and users.
Packaging with the highest quality
Packaging can be manual or automated.
We assemble trays for IVD products, automatically label reagents for DNA tests or assemble complete kits (e.g. blood glucose meters and various diagnostic tests such as kits for preparing blood samples for PCR tests).
Label production such as UDI labels, barcode verification and rework orders (e.g. replacement of individual items, shelf life extensions or 100% checks) are also part of our daily business.
We are certified
We are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485.
Regular internal, external and customer audits ensure comprehensive quality management. To ensure high quality, our employees are trained on the product before each production order.
After production of the order, we regularly take samples of the manufactured kits, check them and release them for delivery to the end customer. On request, we can provide the necessary certificates, such as the CoA (Certificate of Analysis).
Manufacturing authorisation according to § 13 AMG coming soon
We are in the final spurt to obtain the manufacturing authorisation according to §13 AMG. Section 13 of the German Medicines Act regulates the packaging, labelling and release – in particular the secondary packaging or repackaging of medical and pharmaceutical products.
In future, §13 AMG will ensure that secondary packaging within the scope of pharmaceutical manufacturing can also be carried out at Produkt Service Erdt and that we can expand our portfolio for all customers in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Our entire warehouse and production area is qualified for temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
We store & ship your goods State-of-the-Art
Erdt has an 11,000 m² logistics area and 10,000 pallet storage spaces. Shipping is CO₂-neutral.
Our Green Logistics Centre has a qualified and temperature controlled storage area (15 – 25 degrees Celsius) and a separate cold storage area (2 – 8 degrees Celsius). As part of our staff’s routine, all incoming goods are checked according to the dual control principle, including functional testing of medical devices. We always work on a FIFO (First In – First Out) or FEFO (First Expired – First Out) basis.
We ship internationally, B2B and B2C. Packets, parcels and pallets. Prepared for dispatch with edge protectors or in boxes on request. With all carriers and CEP service providers such as Schenker or DHL. And, of course, with specialist packaging.
Storage
We do not only pack, but also store. Nothing gets lost to us in our rows of shelves with advanced digitalization and you also know where your products are at any time.
Water Tank
Not only does our water tank have an environmental benefit by supplying the sprinkler system at the company's site, but it also looks cool.
Charging Station
As an environmentally conscious company, we also promote the use of vehicles with electric drives. Recharging is free for our employees.
Kit Packaging
Our employees at our production lines work with the utmost care to pack the products according to the customer's specification.
Refrigerated Storage
We also cope with special requirements. We offer cold storage from 2 - 8 °C with our cold storage cell and can thus ensure uninterrupted cooling.

Green Logistics Building
Sustainability is a top priority for us. That is why we have equipped our company site with green electricity generated by our solar panels. We thus have enough capacity to supply our company and our services with in-house produced green electricity for a full year.

Unloading of the goods and incoming goods inspection takes place after the trucks have docked at our ramps.
Fulfillment by Erdt
As a fulfillment specialist, it goes without saying that we master the entire fulfillment process. From order entry through to processing, pick & pack, dispatch and returns. Inventory, drop-shipping, packing and promotional shipping are also standard.
Everything happens on-site with us. We take over purchasing of goods.
Erdt’s procurers take over the complete purchasing process: Whether it is medical devices, labels, folding cartons, or package inserts, Erdt has an international supplier network that customers can use. At the best price-performance ratio, of course.
Of course, suppliers are evaluated annually and meet the Quality Requirements of the Erdt Group, which is certified according to DIN ISO 13485.
Erdt also pre-finances the complete Purchase of Goods – if customers so wish. It is also ensured that there is always sufficient stock in the warehouse thanks to rolling forecast planning and make-to-order production. Hence, the supply chain cannot be broken. Erdt guarantees this.
